in building a cutting-edge, pan-European knowledge network that leverages harmonized, holistic research to develop the most technologically, economically, and commercially feasible CCUS technologies and systems. Together, we can steer CCUS R&D and deployment in a direction that allows us to reach climate targets on-time and in a cost-effective manner, while harnessing the competitiveness of European industry.

Core objectives

The long-term goal of TrANsMIT is to provide the high quality and sound techno-economic analysis of CCUS technologies and systems and the informed interpretation of its outputs across Europe and the partner countries.

This will be achieved through:

Research coordination objectives

1. To create a pan-European, interdisciplinary network for techno-economic analysis of CCUS;

2. To understand the current status of science in TEA approaches for CCUS;

3. To improve the quality of CCUS TEA and thereby enable more informed investment and R&D decision-making;

4. To ensure that the existing and developed research is easily accessible and widely used in research and industry; and

5. To establish of the future direction for development of CCUS TEA and development of collaborative research bids and papers.
